Cruise New Years on A-Team - $9,000 for 25 people BYO
The A-Team is a great little boat on Sydney Harbour. It is available all year around including for New Years Eve cruises when it is always one of the first boats to book out due to it’s open space and low price. New Years Eve cruises are always going be a good night no matter what boat you are on and the bet thing for New Years Cruises with the A Team is it’s big open deck. It allows guests to be gathered in one area without having to be segmented into nooks and crannies around the boat.
The A Team is a basic boat with all outdoor entertaining space. There is a single bathroom and plenty of cover just in case it happens to be a wet new years eve cruise. Being the middle of summer it will be a hot day and night so the canopy also helps to keep the sun away during the day and the open sides will help keep your new years eve cruise cool at night. The canopy does not cover the entire boat though so you will still have an uninterrupted view of the fire works. A-Team also has plenty of seating for guests should they wish to be seated although new years eve cruises in Sydney are usually filled with people that want to stand and get into the party spirit.
New Years Eve cruises on The A Team are BYO. This means you are welcome to take your own food and drinks on board to avoid paying for expensive catering packages that you will find compulsory on a lot of boats. New Years Eve Cruise menus are available if you want them, however all new years eve cruises on The A Team are BYO alcohol as they do not have an alcohol license.
The A Team is on of the few boats in Sydney that is licensed to cross the heads, so in some circumstances arrangements can be made to have your new years eve cruise start in Manly or Middle Harbour. Due to the distance from this boats base there may be extra fees and charges for pick ups at these locations however in the past some groups have preferred to pay the extra on new years cruises to avoid trying to make their way to the city.
Anyone starting their new years eve cruise at a public wharf instead of on of the NSW maritime wharves in the CBD must be aware that Sydney Harbour is very busy on New Years Eve. At times there are waits of up to half an hour for boats to pull in to wharves and these delays will cut into your cruise time. Where possible we always suggest that guests arrange to be picked up at Sydney CBD wharves for New Years Eve cruises as they have allocated time slots for charter boats.
New Years Eve Cruises on the A-Team have flexible starting times however if you do decide to start your evening at a CBD wharf the start and finish times will have to work around wharf booking slot availability.
