The world renowned international sailing competition, Sail GP, returns to the shores of Sydney this December, with eight countries battling it out in an adrenaline-fuelled race across the harbour. What is the Sail GP?
The year-long competition started in Bermuda last April, travelling across Europe and arriving on Australia's shores for the 7th round of the season. Opening on the 17th of December, Sydney will host five fleet races and one adrenaline-filled finale. Three fleet races will take place on Friday followed by two on Saturday and a breath-taking finale between the top three performing teams to close off the Australian round.

The second day was unfortunately cancelled due to a major weather event causing significant damage. This year, we are anticipating even more excitement and water-based action as eager fans and teams return to Sydney Harbour to finish what they started across this annual two-day event.
