Our Mission
About Any Boat
Any Boat is a charter boat agency connecting people with the perfect boat for their special event.
We simplify the process of boat hire and take away the uncertainty and confusion around what boat,
at what cost, and with what features would be best for any one group.
In days gone by selecting a boat to hire on Sydney Harbour could be compared to a game of Russian Roulette
with guests booking boats over the phone after finding a company in the yellow pages.
They would arrive at the wharf only to find that the centerpiece of their well planned event was a smoke blowing, stinky, old ship that was not as described.
Smoke blowing, stinky, old ships still have their place on the water but it is the job of the highly trained Any Boat consultants to make sure that the right people end up on the right boat.
Whether it be a Super Yacht for a milestone birthday, a huge function boat for a corporate Christmas party, a sailing boat for a romantic experience,
or a super budget boat for a young group of friends to get out on the water, we make average events special by holding our clients hand through the boat booking and event organising process.
We live by – Any Boat, for Any Occasion, Any Where.
About Any Boat’s Founder

Daniel is passionate about the industry and has built a strong reputation as an individual who volunteers a lot of time to improve the standard of our industry.
He was the Vice President of the NSW Commercial Vessel Association from 2016 to 2019, before being appointed President last year.
He is also a Public Officer of the CBAA (Charter Boat Agents Association) and sits on several committees shaping the future of the industry including the boating industry Liquor Accord.
Eg: Daniel is actively involved in improving the image of the charter boat industry by implementing guidelines for RSA compliance.
Through the CVA, Daniel is also running an initiative to lobby Government to subsidise charter boat operators so that every charter boat in NSW can have defibrillators on board vessels.
Daniel is a thought leader and sought out by news outlets (channel, 7, 9 and 10), 2GB for comment on Sydney Harbour and the industry, as well as several online sites and blogs.
His media appearances shed light on the industry and are often broadcast globally, eg: interviews with Richard Branson.
In addition to this, in his CVA role, Daniel collaborates with the Government on legislation, infrastructure and issues, as well as champions the rights of the members
within the industry and actively represents the voice of vessel operators in this role.
With his customer hat on, he advocates for users of charter boats in his capacity as a Public Officer of the CBAA, and has recently had a resolution pass to merge the CVA and CBAA together,
so that the two parties can work cohesively to support a healthy and sustainable boating industry, not against each other.
Daniel also oversaw the separation of CVA from BIA, and secured a seat for CVA on the Domestic Commercial Vessel Advisory Committee, which is a sounding board for law changes.
No one was representing industry on this committee previously, so with this position, industry now has early insight and can provide feedback into proposed law changes.
For example, the Government proposed changes to counting how many on boats at any one time, and what this would require in terms of technology and the actual practicalities of the scheme.

Lavender Bay Guardians
Any Boat is located at the Lavender Bay Boat Shed which is a historical building and they have 40 moorings in the bay that they rent out or use for their own boats.
With such a close attachment to Lavender Bay Any Boat has taken it upon themselves to be custodians of the Bay.
They are the security guards for boats, the eyes and ears for boat owners, the rescue team for boats in distress, the clean up crew for rubbish and pollution,
and the service centre for any tourists trying make their way around the coastal walk who lose their way.
Any Boat also employs local teenagers, local seniors, and helps the elderly, the young, and families get out to their boats even when they are on moorings not managed by Any Boat.
Environmental & Sustainable Practices
Any Boat has undertaken a recycling program on all owned and managed boats to ensure that the tens of thousands of bottles that are consumed each year end up in recycling instead of rubbish.
By simply cutting a round hole in the top of the lid of garbage bins patrons instinctively know to put bottles in the holes.
Any Boat has 4 recycling bins and recycling bin pick ups are now taking place three times a week. When Daniel first moved Any Boat to Lavender Bay there was only one.
All owned and managed boats have black water tanks to collect sewage. This is then pumped into the sewer.
Most boats on Sydney Harbour flush straight into the water. Locking devices have been fitted to Any Boat vessels to ensure that it is not even possible to discharge blackwater into the harbour.
Any Boat now has two electric boats for tendering guests in and out. This is saving thousands of litres of fuel per year reducing emissions.
Daniel has also played an active role in increasing the number of public black water pump out facilities available to all charter boats.
