Overview

Boat hire on Commissioner II is for people looking for a boat that oozes class and sophistication.  Commissioner II is an 87ft classic motor yacht that was recently restored and internally redesigned to suit the Sydney boat hire market.  

Commissioner II can comfortably hold up to 100 people on charter for any type of boat hire event.  There are quite a few things that set Commissioner II apart from it’s competitors and what stands out the most are the spaces.  When your boat hire starts you board Commissioner II and find yourself on a huge teak deck.  The deck is quite deceiving and it is not until you are on board and looking back down the boat that you realise just how big Commissioner II is.  Some boat hire functions have had over 80 people standing comfortably on the foredeck for presentations or fireworks.

Once you are on board you step through a side door from the walk around deck to enter  the main saloon.  This area is a big open space with opening windows to let the fresh sea breeze flow through Commissioner II to keep your boat hire function cool.  On a bad day the windows can be closed so that your day isn’t spoilt with a little bad weather.

This space has a polished wooden floor that boat hire guests use as a dining area, a dance floor, or another area for socialising.  Tables and chairs can easily be added or removed  for dining which allows the area to be used for formal dining or buffets.  When the space is used as a dance floor DJ’s and bands are usually set up in the corner where power facilities and an AV system are available during boat hire.

Down a few stairs is where the bar and cocktail lounge are situated.  Boat hire on Commissioner II is fully catered and the bar has several beverage options available from all inclusive bar packages, to consumption bars and bar tabs.  The cocktail lounge by the bar is one of the most popular boat hire spaces on Commissioner II and provides an intimate area for a relaxing chat over a drink and canapés.

Down a few more stairs Commissioner II offers separate ladies and gents bathrooms which are modern and clean.  By the bar there is also another set of stairs leading to the commercial kitchen.  The kitchen on Commissioner II is fully equipped to handle any kind of boat hire event and is where all of the boat hire meals are prepared.  The catering on board Commissioner II is second to none and you are able to choose from the boat hire menus available or arrange customised meals.

Back in the main saloon or dance floor there is yet another stair case and this one leads to the upper deck.  The upper deck on Commissioner II is another great space and is also where the captain drives from.  Boat hire guests are welcome to stand with the captain during boat hire and behind the captain is an outdoor area that has the option of being covered with a sun shade or open air.  The upper deck is a walk around  deck offering  boat hire guests the opportunity to see Sydney Harbour from all sides of Commissioner II within a few steps.

One of the other things that sets Commissioner II apart from the rest of the boat hire competition is the meticulous standard of maintenance.  Staff are on their hands and knees day and day out cleaning polishing, painting and just generally making sure that Commissioner II is as beautiful as she can possibly be.  Photographs just don’t do Commissioner II justice.  If you are comparing boat hire options we definitely suggest taking the time to see Commissioner II in real life so that you can appreciate how beautiful she truly is.

Formal Dining Cruises: 1 staff included for first 10 guests and then one wait staff required for every 10 guests after or part thereof.
