The chatter and noise has been steadily increasing around Sydney and the wait is nearly over. Emirates shipyard has launched its second Majesty 122 superyacht and this one is aptly named Ghost II. Destined for the Australian charter market and in particular Sydney for the summer, Ghost II follows in her predecessor’s footsteps Ghost I. The 37.5-meter superyacht will arrive with Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) certification for classes 2C, 1E and 1D commercial use. Put simply and in layman’s terms, your captain can take you and your guests anywhere on Sydney Harbour and even past the heads up to 30 nautical miles.
This standout superyacht will be the newest available on Sydney Harbour and is suitable for 12 guests overnight or on a weekly basis. For those special occasions or major corporate events, Ghost II will be able to accommodate up to 100 passengers in comfort. Spread over two main decks and an expansive fly bridge, Ghost II is one superyacht that has been designed to impress.
The question lingers though as to who the mystery owner is and how much they paid for this stunning superyacht. There are some suggestions that that it is in the vicinity of $16 million and although he wouldn’t be drawn into the discussion, there are some reports that indicate it may be Anthony Bell. The celebrity accountant and skipper of Sydney to Hobart winner Perpetual Loyal.
